Allopathic medicine is a term used to describe conventional modern medicine. It entails the use of medicines or surgery, which is frequently accompanied by counselling and lifestyle changes. In the fields of infectious diseases and emergencies, modern medicine has made significant progress. In most other fields, control, which is another word for palliation, is the main goal. Pharmacology, including psychopharmacology, is primarily focused on such control and palliation.
