Biography
Dr. Mahnaz Kazemipoor holding PhD in Nutrition & Traditional Medicine, is a researcher with extensive experience in clinical nutrition, physical activity, being specialized in Herbal and Natural Medicine; She has experience as nutritional and academic/research consultant, also in conducting and presenting professional workshops; She has passion and experience in improvement of human health, learning and educating. Besides, she has working and research experiences in Nutrition education and health promotion especially in healthy lifestyle, Pharmacognosy, food safety, food science & technology and biotechnology. A short background on her previous research experience includes working as Postdoctoral Visiting Research Fellow at University of Malaya for 1 year and as research assistant for 3 years and food specialist, lab and R&D manager in several food factories. Currently she is practicing Traditional & Natural Medicine as Nutritional and Health Consultant in the private clinic. Outcome of her past research efforts are concluded in more than 28 publcations including peer-reviewed scientific papers, books, conference presentations, and patent related to nutritional and natural therapeutic approaches for the management of obesity and other chronic disease
