Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM)

It does not challenge to learn about the physique by experimentation, analysis, dissection but instead observes natural physical functions as they appear in order to analyze an illness or disorder. It also never limits the cause of even the most minor ailment to a local one, but examines the entire body to find the reason for the condition. By rectifying the bodily imbalance rather than performing surgery or other offensive procedure, it adopts a natural cure approach. Recent studies of TKM have demonstrated therapeutic effects, underlying mechanism responsible for its effects and the relationship with genetic variations. Experimental and genetic studies about TKM have indicated linkage of TKM with pharmacogenomics.
